+Where do the tours depart from?

Our private tours start from various locations depending on the location of the guest for some private tours (meeting you at a local park, your hotel, etc.) but Family Tours depart from:

+ What time do the tours start?

Our tour departure times vary depending on the time that tour runs or in some cases, the time the guest has selected. Please check each tour's detail for departures for a specific tour.

+ What is an electric bike?

An electric bike - or ebike - is a bicycle enhanced by an electric power system. This power system provides on-demand silent assistance to the rider, giving the rider almost super-human capability to climb hills and travel long distances with ease.

+ What should I wear?

We ask our guests to wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sneakers or closed toe shoes. Our summers are pretty darn warm, so loose-fitting, wicking attire in light colors is always a good idea. Don't forget to pack your swimsuit if you'd like to take a dip in Barton Springs or Deep Eddy Pool!

+ What should I bring on my tour?

It's best to only bring necessary items such as your phone, ID, and wallet. Large purses are usually not bike-friendly - sling type shoulder bags or backpacks are best for carrying your extras. If the weather is leaning towards cooler, a jacket may be more comfortable.

+ Where should I park?

If you are coming to the Launchpad, covered garage parking is available M-Sat for $1 per hour and FREE on Sundays. Metered street parking is also readily available.

+ I have a food sensitivity or allergy - can I go on your food tour?

YES! Austin is very open minded when it comes to food and so are we.

While booking, you have the choice to identify any preference; vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten free, <insert others here>, and importantly, any food allergens to avoid.

If your preferences are very strict and possibly restrictive to other guests on a public tour, we will do our best to accommodate you, but you may have a better experience on a private tour where we can curate food stops based on your specific needs/preferences.

+ What if I have a large group?

If you have a group of 10 or more and do not see availability on your preferred date, please contact us - we may be able to accommodate you!
